Worth It! (Things to try, read, watch, hear, and discuss)

New Year Party

2019 is almost behind us (and, in a few early time zones, is already gone). I hope it’s been a wonderful year for all of you, and that you’re ready to welcome the new year with hope and anticipation.

I’ve kept New Year’s Eve pretty low key for the past few years, preferring small gatherings with family or friends to large events. I guess I’ve gotten a little too old for serious partying. Lol.

What are your plans for New Year’s Eve?

Happy almost New Year, Amanda. Our plans are for the moveable New Years celebration. Four sets of neighbours are getting together for a country themed New Year’s celebration. Each house will have food and drink themed for a country (Greece, Nederlands, Mexico, Hawaii (I know it is part of America, but it does have some unique food culture)). We will also play a simple game and get in some good conversation. There is no pressure to stay up to midnight, we do not have to worry about driving and the houses are so close, we may not even have to put coats on for the trip. It should be a blast. Wishing you all the best in 2020. Allan

You have had such a busy Christmas season, you are likely looking for a bit of a break. Pie is always a good break. Cheers. A

Our new year will involve much food and plenty of wine. If we’re lucky, we may even make it to midnight 😉

Catch up on rest! 🙂 No sense in starting a new year doing anything else when I need this more than anything else.

    Happy soon-to-be New Year!
This year is the first one in 13 that I will be single, so I’m planning to go out on the town with a close girlfriend. We’ve vowed to hop around, talk to strangers and laugh a lot.
Why not kick off 2020 with some new friends? 😉
